Prom season is much closer than you think. It’s best to start looking for prom transportation early, especially if your teen has their heart set on certain vehicle. Many companies sell 6 hour prom packages only during prom season. The packages often include gratuity for the driver to take the guess work out for parents. It may seem like sticker shock when a parent gets a $700 quote for a limousine for the evening, but when pricing is broken down per individual it’s a mere $70 for the evening. Not bad at all considering a new survey from Visa Inc. shows that the average American family plans to spend $1,078, for each child , on the prom, a 33.6 percent increase over the $807 spent last year.
