Each year, Anthony Calhoun of WISH-TV has his annual AC Charity Golf Classic. This year, the benefiting organization was Teachers Treasures. This organization provides school supplies to teachers free of charge. Sometimes, teachers will have students that can not get their school supplies. Since teachers are dedicated to their job and the children they teach, they will go out and purchase the supplies with their own money so that the child does not go with out. Teachers Treasures are there to help those teachers.
This year, the AC Charity Golf Classic raised $150,000 for this wonderful organization.
